Rules

Marble

We’ve done our best to create a comfortable, welcoming home—a place we can share, with a few luxurious touches that make it feel extra special.

We like to keep things simple and try not to overwhelm you with rules, so there’s really just one main request: please treat the marble surfaces with extra care.

The marble is highly absorbent, so even water can leave marks, and liquids such as coffee may stain if left for too long. Please use coasters, placemats, cork mats, or a chopping board under glasses, mugs, pots, or anything wet, and wipe up any spills straight away.

To help keep the marble looking its best, please keep the marble surface cleaner provided to hand and use it as needed for regular cleaning.

Shoes & Noise

Shoes & Noise

No strict rules here — just please be mindful of:

  • Dirt from shoes
  • Noise late at night (please respect the neighbours)

Pets

Unfortunately pets are not allowed.

Key Information

Kitchen basics

Please help yourself to anything in the kitchen.

The only request is that unopened alcohol bottles are not used — but anything already open or in the fridge is absolutely fine.

Indoor Plants

The indoor plants are very low maintenance and only requires a small amount of water approximately every 10–14 days.

Garden Plants

The potted plants in the garden may need watering with the hose during longer stays, particularly in spring and summer.

  • During the warmer months (May–September), please water the pots every 2–5 days if there has been little rainfall, and more if very hot.
  • During autumn and winter, watering is rarely required and only necessary after an extended dry spell.

The planter beside the garden dining table is connected to an automatic irrigation system. However, if you notice any issues with the system, or the plants appear unusually dry, please feel free to give them some additional water.

Thank you for helping keep the plants healthy during your stay.

Garden Furniture & Cushions

Please help us keep the garden furniture in great condition during your stay.

To ensure the plants receive enough natural light, we kindly ask that the garden umbrella is not left open for extended periods when not in use.

Seat pads and cushions stored in the gym may be used in the garden, and outdoor tableware can be found in the basket located in the gym.

As British weather can be unpredictable, please be mindful of the possibility of rain. We kindly ask that cushions and seat pads are not left outside overnight or when leaving the property for extended periods, as unexpected showers can quickly damage them.

We simply ask that any items used in the garden are returned to the gym after use so they remain clean, dry, and ready for future guests.

We hope you enjoy spending time in the garden.

Families

We can provide baby gear and toys on request.
